AI Task Time

Privacy & cookies

We keep this short and honest. AI Task Time is a free tool — we collect as little as we can, and we don't use tracking cookies or sell anything to anyone.

Analytics & cookies

We use Umami, a privacy-first, self-hosted analytics tool, to understand which pages are useful. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't build an advertising profile. Because no personal data is collected, there's no consent banner to click through.

Umami records only aggregate, anonymous metrics — page views, referring sites, rough region, and browser/device type — plus a few interaction events (for example, when an outbound link to a partner site is clicked). None of this identifies you.

What we store

When you run an estimate, we save the task description you type, the worker type you select, and the generated result so it gets a shareable page. By default these estimates are public and may appear in the Library, Popular, and Trending sections. Please don't enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information.

IP addresses & rate limiting

We do not store your raw IP address. To limit abuse, we keep a one-way SHA-256 hash of it and use it only to enforce a rate limit (a capped number of estimates per hour). The hash can't be reversed back into your IP.

Server logs

Our server keeps standard operational logs (errors and performance events) to keep the service running. These logs don't contain your raw IP address; abuse events record only a short, truncated fragment of the hash described above.

Third-party services

To generate an estimate, the task text you submit is sent to Anthropic (the Claude API). Some pages link out to our partner sites (obrari.com, goodaitask.com) with basic attribution tags so we know which page a click came from. The site also loads web fonts from Google's CDN to render its typography.
